I'm Colleen, and I'm a watercolor artist!



Art is something that has been a part of my life since I came into the world. Whether musical or visual, art has molded my memories and helped shape me to be the person I am today. I fell in love with the medium of watercolor in high school after it was suggested to me by my art teacher. I love the challenge of using the medium, as well as the natural way water helps move the color across the paper. My watercolors are also accompanied by ink-work to help establish bold lines as well as bring out intricate details that draw the eye. Each of my pieces are created with love and careful thought to bring across the story and feel of what they depict. In every commission I take that special memory of something dear and create something that you can keep for years to come. This is why I've named myself "Thoughtful Waters" on social media.
